This Privacy Policy explains how Oceanfront Dining LLC, doing business as Charm Café & Restaurant (“Charm,” “we,” “us”), located at 76 Merrimack St, Lowell, MA 01852, handles information collected through this website.
Information we collect
When you join our opening list, we collect the information you submit: your name, email address, and, if you choose to provide it, your phone number. If you apply to join our team, we also collect the role you are interested in and anything you tell us about yourself, and we use those details only to consider and respond to your application. We also record the time of your submission and the fact that it came from this website. We do not collect payment information through this site.
How we use it
- To let you know about Charm’s opening and related news by email.
- To send occasional text messages only if you provided a phone number and separately checked the SMS consent box. You can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP or contacting us.
- To understand overall interest in Charm before we open.
We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers
We use reputable service providers to operate this website and our communications, and they process your information only on our behalf and under their own security commitments. Currently these include our website hosting platform (Vercel) and Google, whose services we use to store opening-list submissions. As we approach opening we may also use email and SMS providers to send the communications you signed up for. We do not sell your personal information to any of these providers.
Advertising
We may promote Charm on third-party platforms such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, or Google. This website does not currently include advertising pixels or trackers from these platforms. If we add advertising or analytics technologies in the future, we will update this policy and, where required by law, ask for your consent before they are used. Charm is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these platforms.
Cookies and analytics
This site currently sets no advertising or marketing cookies and runs no third-party advertising trackers. If we add privacy-conscious analytics in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.
Retention
We keep opening-list information while it is needed to communicate with you about Charm. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information, we will remove it within a reasonable time, except where we must keep a record to honor your opt-out.
Security
Signup information is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with access limited to the people who run Charm. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from emails using the link in any message, opt out of texts by replying STOP, and ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws; we will honor valid requests in accordance with those laws.

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
